When it comes to learning about mental health challenges, including drugs and alcohol, there is nothing as powerful as hearing the raw and real stories from people who have been through it. The Five Lives team have all had personal experience of drug and alcohol addiction or mental health difficulties. They deliver hard hitting workshops in which they tell their own stories. They have a wealth of knowledge and experience to impart to students. They also tackle the myths that surround addiction, increasing students’ understanding and helping them to make wise decisions.
We visit schools thoughout Devon and so far we have visited many schools, including Sidmouth College, The King’s School, Clyst Vale Community College and Tiverton High School.
